# Airdrop

**Dynamic Airdrop Conversion** is the **conversion mechanism between River Pts and $RIVER**.

It encodes time into tokenomics through a **time-coded rate**, allowing users to convert **River Pts (ERC-20)** into **$RIVER** anytime within a **180-day window**.

The conversion rate increases continuously as time passes, and users can convert in one or multiple transactions. River Pts themselves are standard ERC-20 tokens — they can be **traded, transferred, or staked** across the River ecosystem.

#### Mechanism 

A total of **1 billion River Pts** correspond to **up to 30 million $RIVER**, covering the **Community Airdrop + Community Reserve** allocation (≈ 30 % of total supply).

If all conversions happen at the end of the 180-day window, the full 30 million $RIVER will be distributed. 

If conversions occur earlier, fewer $RIVER are released and the remaining amount stays in the **Community Reserve**.

The 30 % allocation therefore acts as a flexible cap, not a fixed release.

#### How does it work

Suppose you hold 1M River Pts:

If you convert within the first 24 hours of TGE, the amount of RIVER you receive will be close to zero.

* Day 0, \~0 $RIVER
* On Day 1, you receive 111 $RIVER
* By Day 90, that becomes 10,000 $RIVER
* By Day 180, the full potential is 30,000 $RIVER

By Day 180, 1M River Pts reach their maximum potential: 30,000 $RIVER.

This design ensures that early exiters claim less, while long-term holders can capture the full upside — up to 270× more tokens than converting on Day 1.

River Pts are awarded based on real activity across the River ecosystem during Season 3 (from TGE onward).&#x20;

* [**Staking River Pts**](https://app.river.inc/fun) : If you hold River Pts, you can stake them on [4FUN](https://app.river.inc/fun) to accumulate more.

### How to Claim River Pts

If you joined **Season 2 Airdrop** and accumulated River Pts, you can now claim them directly on the Airdrop Page

2. Connect your wallet or X account
3. The UI will display your earned River Pts
4. Click **“Claim River Pts”**
5. River Pts will be available in your wallet
